Welcome to Palmora Escapes. By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making any reservation or purchase.

1. About Palmora Escapes

Palmora Escapes is a Sri Lanka–based travel company offering curated holidays, resort stays, experiences, and destination management services worldwide. We act as a booking agent for hotels, resorts, transport providers, and other travel service suppliers.

2. Role and Responsibility

When you make a booking with Palmora Escapes, we arrange travel services provided by independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels, and tour operators. Your contract will be with the supplier providing the specific service, and their individual terms and conditions will apply. We are responsible for ensuring your booking is made correctly with the supplier but are not responsible for the performance or delivery of the travel services themselves.

3. Separate Travel Services

If you book one travel service through Palmora Escapes and later add additional travel services for the same trip or holiday, these will be treated as separate bookings. In this case, you will not be entitled to the rights or protections that apply to package holidays, and Palmora Escapes will not be responsible for the performance of individual services booked separately.

4. Packages Organised by Third Parties

From time to time, Palmora Escapes may offer or sell travel packages that are organised by a third-party tour operator or principal, for whom we act solely as an agent. In such cases, the tour operator or principal is fully responsible for your booking, including the quality, safety, and delivery of the travel arrangements. Palmora Escapes will not be held liable for any act, omission, or default of such third parties.

5. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be confirmed in writing or via our official digital channels. A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking, depending on the supplier’s policy. Payments can be made via bank transfer, online payment gateway, or other approved methods. Your booking will be confirmed only once payment has been received and you have received written confirmation from Palmora Escapes.

6. Changes and Cancellations

6.1 By You

You may cancel your booking at any time. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

Cancellation charges (unless otherwise specified by the service provider):

  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior to arrival: 25% of the total booking cost
  • Cancellations within 30 days of arrival: 100% of the total booking cost

Note: Bookings are usually non-refundable unless explicitly stated. Fees may be as high as 100% of the total cost depending on the timing and supplier policy.

6.2 By the Supplier or Palmora Escapes

In rare cases, suppliers or Palmora Escapes may need to modify or cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances. We will inform you as soon as possible and, whenever feasible, offer an alternative of equal or greater value.

7. Prices

All prices are quoted in the agreed currency (typically USD) and are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in exchange rates, taxes, or supplier pricing. Once full payment has been made, the price of your confirmed booking will not be increased.

8. Travel Documents and Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring that all required travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates, insurance, etc.) are valid and in order before your departure. Palmora Escapes will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to non-compliance with travel requirements.

9. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential risks such as cancellation, medical emergencies, loss of luggage, or delays.

10. Liability

While Palmora Escapes exercises due care in selecting reputable suppliers, we do not own, operate, or control the travel services provided by third parties. Accordingly, we cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience caused by the acts or omissions of suppliers or other third parties. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and to the value of the booking made with us.

11. Complaints and Customer Service

If you encounter any issues during your trip, please contact the relevant supplier immediately and inform Palmora Escapes as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist in resolving the matter promptly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
